MUSIC NOTES

Senior Choir on Semi-Vacation

Our wonderful hardworking, ever-faithful Senior Choir will receive a semi-vacation during the month of August. There are no Sunday morning rehearsals during August, but the Choir will continue to sing at the 10:30 services. Practices resume at the regular time on September 7th.

Summer Music Camp

August 18th - 22nd
1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Ages 5 years and older

"365 Days in 1 Week"

EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN

Three events were held in the Parish House this year: a High Tea in the Fall, an Evening Supper in the Winter, and a Lunch in May.

Supper was provided to the Free Clinic staff 5 times. Future volunteers are needed. Please contact Lenore Munger at jmunger@ccsinc.com or 694-5415.

A planning meeting is scheduled July 15th at 10 a.m. in the Parish House. Ideas for the coming year will be discussed. Suggestions and volunteers are needed. Please call Jo Anne Owen, 725-3583 or Lenore Munger, 694-5415.

The Book Circle will meet after the ECW planning meeting. The Circle will begin with lunch in the Parish Hall at 12:30 pm. Call Annette Taylor, 693-9798 by Sunday, July 13th to let her know if you plan to attend. The book for the month is The Cane River by Lalita Tademy, which is available at the Gloucester public library and at Twice Told Tales.

SCHOOL CLOTHING FUND

The Ware Church Mission Committee is sponsoring a fund drive to help needy children in Gloucester before school begins in September. Your donation will be used for needed clothing and school supplies. Letters will be sent parishioners explaining more about this effort.
