Who Runs the Family Room?
The Family Room is a program of Ware Episcopal Church for the benefit of young children and their parents or care givers. Sister Colleen Magill, Director of the Family Room, plans the daily activities and programs. She holds a masters in Early Childhood Education and has been leading the program for more than 10 years.  An Advisory Board is elected from the parent membership to work with Sister Colleen. The Board provides necessary planning for an active and safe environment for the children. It also sponsors fund raising events to meet the Family Room’s annual budget.

How much does it Cost?
There’s a monthly membership fee of $10 per family for supplies and materials. No one is turned away because of financial need. Addition funding is provided by the Samaritans of Gloucester and several helping foundations. Parents are asked to help with the Family Room Fund raising events. Ware Episcopal Church provides climate controlled meeting space and insurance coverage for the program.
