Parish News, Newsletters, and Calendars

“But he said to them, 'I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns as well; for I was sent for this purpose.'” - Luke 4:43

Ware is an active parish with a lot happening.  This part of our web site may help you keep track of all the many things going on in our church community.

News Room

The News Room is where we put our monthly calendar and the Grapevine, our monthly newsletter for the parish.  Sometimes the calendar is part of the Grapevine, and sometimes posted here separately.  Junior Choir information is also here and usually posted separately.  There are occasional "breaking news" articles here as well.

Monthly newsletters are made available on our web site as PDF (Portable Document Format) files.  If you don't already have it, you can download and install the free and secure PDF reader application, called "Adobe Acrobat" or "Adobe Reader", from Adobe.com by clicking on the following link.   (Important -- during installation, we recommend that you watch for and un-check any checkbox when asked if you also want to download some toolbar, browser, or other gadget.)

The calendar includes many things, including the schedules of responsibilities of individual parishioners involved in the activities of the church.

Remember: if you cannot serve on your appointed day, then please find your own substitute and inform the office of the schedule change.

Current Events Calendar

This is where we keep a calendar of important events that everyone in the parish should know about.  The Grapevine's calendar is the master list, but sometimes things happen on short notice and don't make the monthly newsletter.  Don't forget to check here, too.

Resources & Community Links

Here we provide internet links to external web sites that may be of interest to Episcopalians, to the member of Ware, to the residents of Gloucester County and the Middle Peninsula of Virginia, and to those who want to learn about our community.
