In New York he was a member of the men and boys choir at St Thomas church, 5th avenue. His move to the Virginia region was primarily due to an opening at the living museum at Colonial Williamsburg and during that time he created a thriving private voice studio within the region as well as continuing his solo vocal work and has  continued his instrumental skills. Before being appointed as Director of Music at Ware he was Interim director of music at St Andrews, Episcopal church, Oregon Hill, Richmond.
